“What airlines and flights are best to use to get to Uganda?’’

“ Check; https: //www.skyscanner.net/ for further details for flight routes and info. Uganda airlines is the only direct flight, and it is approximately 8 hours 30 minutes. Rwanda Air is a good airline, and their flight times are reasonable. Emirates and British airways (In collaboration with Kenya airways) also flies to Uganda. For some of these flights you may need to arrive a day early. If you arrive a day early, look for hotels in Entebbe and most of them are only about 15 minutes from the airport’’

“Yes you can in almost all locations. But we advise that you also carry some local cash for when buying some of the local goods or for any tipping. You can draw cash out of a cash point using your visa card and the charges are minimal”

“ I am curious about the local dishes that are served in Uganda, what are they?

“Luwombo: This dish consists of beef or chicken or ground nuts sauce with vegetable wrapped in banana leaves and steamed to perfection with just the right amount of salt. 

  • Rolex: is a beloved street food. It consists of an omelette wrapped in a freshly made chapatti. We now have beef or chicken rolex’.

  • Matooke: Is a green banana that is peeled and steamed to perfection. It is them mashed and served with sauces like chicken, fish, or beef stews or groundnut sauce

  • Nyama choma: This is barbequed meat mainly goat’s meat, chicken or beef

“What should l think about before travelling?”

  • -Visa to Uganda is $50 and you will need a passport size picture and a copy of your airline ticket. It takes about 5 days to process

“Could I come for some of the days and not the full week?’’

“We would love to come for the full week, but we recognise that this may not be possible. The important days are Days 1, 2, 5 and 7. If you cannot make all 4 days, then please prioritise Days 1,2 and 7. The only downside to this is we cannot guarantee the same hotel prices we have negotiated.’’
